Thursday’s Stocks to Watch: GTX, Check Point Software

  • Shares of GTX Inc. (NASDAQ:) were up 3 cents to $3.71 in early Thursday trading following a 34% jump Wednesday sparked by an upgrade by Citi, which slapped an $8 price target on the stock.
  • Check Point Software (NASDAQ:) fell 1.1% after the company beat first-quarter earnings and revenue expectations.
  • Delcath (NASDAQ:) shares were up 3.6% after the company said Wednesday that it received European regulatory approval for its liver cancer drug.
  • Shares of Supervalu (NYSE:) gained 12% after the company beat fiscal fourth-quarter profit estimates and said its fiscal 2012 earnings and revenue would come in above current Wall Street expectations.
  • Zoom Tech (NASDAQ:) slipped 1.3% after a strong Wednesday that followed a licensing agreement with Qualcomm (NASDAQ:)
